Learning information is only 20% of the story

Learning information is only 20% of the story

Alright so here’s what I’ve come to know over the past few weeks.  I’ve been focusing on my business and how to maximize my web site and personal networks to attract new clients and keep the clients that I have.

And since I have invested in programs from Lisa Sasevich, Milana Leshinsky, Jeff Walker, Fabienne Fredrickson, etc. I have a good amount of information and resources available to me to maximize my effectiveness.

But let me tell you — none of these experts (and they are awesome so if you need information on business, marketing, or speaking please go to their web sites now) can tell me how to specifically grow my business.  There’s still a part that I need to learn — things like:

  1. What is my unique offering in my industry?
  2. What transformation do my clients need that they can only get from me?
  3. What are my clients problems, specifically?
  4. What keeps them up at night?
  5. Where do they hang out?
  6. What information are they willing to pay for, not just what they need, but what will they pay for?

See, even though the greats can tell me the things to think about and get started with, I still need to do the work!!!!!

And that’s why you’ll hear that taking action is the most important part of learning and growing.

Quite frankly, if the experts knew the specific answers to these questions for your business, they’d be running it.

The reason why people will pay for your transformational information is because you’ve invested the time to learn about your ideal client, and then went through the pain of creating programs and products to solve the problems they have.

Now, I am a woman of action — I mean, when I watch a launch video from one of my mentors and they give that one juciy nugget of wisdom on what to do, I use it within 48 hours.  And I have to say that my business is leaps ahead because of it.  Each time I implement something, I become the obvious choice for my clients and it is definitely paid off.

Sure, I would love it if I didn’t have to learn the answers to the questions above.

But then again, that’s why my business will be solid not just for now but for years to come.

So, what I learned today is — no one can give you the spefic answers to the questions you have to answer to grow your clientele or customer base.  Only you can answer those questions.  And until you take action on what you know, you’ll never find the answers.
